Tatterhood | A Night of Story and Supper
What if doing the wrong thing is precisely what’s needed in order to restore life?
Join Echo Events and storyteller Ruth Steadman for a night of story and supper at Dacre Hall. We
will feast on Venetian cicchetti and the wild old Norwegian tale of Tatterhood as we peel the petals
off this and other delicious questions.
Ruth grew up in Brampton before moving away for university and work. Following a rich career as
a psychotherapist, Ruth began apprenticing as a storyteller in the oral tradition just before the
pandemic. Ruth’s pursuit of story has since led her to a tiny heathens’ chapel surrounded by
saltmarsh, a locked down cottage overlooking three stone circles in the Outer Hebrides, and for the
last four years Ruth has lived in Venice, Italy. She is now bringing one of her favourite stories
home. Go to echoeventslanercost.co.uk for tickets. £20 including supper. https://www.trybooking.com/uk/FLUL
